Happy Bird-Day card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse Confetti
Here's my take on the inspiration photo.  I used the pink and aqua color scheme from the wallet/change purse (I think that's what it is . . .) at the bottom center of the graphic along with the current sketch at Match the Sketch to create my card.

My flamingo is from Reverse Confetti's Fabulous Flamingo stamp set.  I used pink pigment ink to stamp the flamingo body and wings, then cut out the images with the matching dies.  The pieces were assembled on an aqua grid patterned paper panel with border punched strips of grass along the bottom to ground the image.  I matted the panel on bright pink cardstock, then adhered it to a blue cardstock panel with a pale pink cardstock strip along the right edge.  After wrapping a strip of shiny pink satin ribbon around the panel, I added the "happy bird-day" sentiment on top, using foam tape for dimension.  The finished panel was matted on bright pink cardstock, then adhered to a light pink card base.
